Qualification, vocational training and integration
At the Center ÜBERLEBEN, we are committed to vocational qualification, training, labour market integration, catching up on school-leaving qualifications and preparing people with refugee and migration experiences for employment. We see diversity as an asset, which is why we bring together people from different parts of the world with different biographies. It is important to us to create an environment for our clients, course participants and students in which they can learn new things, build on previous knowledge and optimise their resources. Our target group-specific programmes are designed to enable our graduates and clients to successfully navigate and establish themselves on the labour market.
Education and vocational training is fundamental to social participation, which is why we are especially committed to supporting people who face particular barriers in accessing education and the labour market. To this end, the Center ÜBERLEBEN offers educational programmes that are specially designed to meet the needs of the target group. Two departments at the Center ÜBERLEBEN play a key role in shaping these tasks – the Department for Refugee Services and the Paulo Freire Vocational School.
